Here is a Mexican sterling silver brooch of grapes with stem and a leaf on each side The clasp is a C type which dates it to the 1800s. It has silver loops at the top so that is can also be worn as a pendant on a chain or cord.
Marked Mexico on the reverse. It is interesting to note that this dates it before the time when the markings of Mexico craftsmen.

I have not cleaned it since many collectors of vintage silver jewelry prefer the mellow patina that comes with age. There is a slight dimple to the center top grape.
